Chirpsounds Update – June 2019!

June 2019

Chirpsounds continues to race toward commercial release!

What We’ve Been Up To

Sourcing wood-infused filament, my friends at Penn State Malvern’s REV-UP program printed this Chirpsounds “looks like” production prototype on their 3D-printers. Sanded and stained, this is as close as we can get to what the final production injection-molded parts will look like:

Chirpsounds First Public Debut

We were extremely gratified at the reception Chirpsounds received at our first public showing! It was, to say the least, amazing! Hundreds of people came to our booth at The Biggest Week in American Birding to watch our video demo, handle the prototypes shown above, and ask lots of questions, complete marketing surveys, and sign up for our email list. The best part was telling what Chirpsounds does, and watching the smile grow on their face as they understood what it will add to their backyard birdwatching experience!

What’s Next?

The first production prototypes are almost done and should be on their way to us for testing by the end of June! As soon as we get them, we’ll run them through a tough battery of tests and give our feedback to the Engineering Team. With any luck, there won’t be much to be tweaked and improved. As soon as we’re satisfied these are ready to go, it’s off to manufacturing them in the kind of quantities we expect to go through at and soon after launch.

It’s Who You know

You can help others learn about Chirpsounds. Please share this with everyone you know, whether you think they would like a Chirpsounds device or not. They may know someone who would. You can also encourage them to visit Chirpsounds.com and sign up for these updates.

Well, that’s all for right now. Watch your inbox for more updates, which we’ll try to get out more frequently as we race past milestones!

Stay tuned!
