Chirpsounds Update – March 2019!

March 2019
Like a falcon in a high-speed dive, Chirpsounds continues to race toward completion!

The State of Things

Following completion of the design by the Development Team, the good people at Penn State Malvern’s REV-UP program ran off the first physical manifestation of Chirpsounds on their state-of-the-art 3D-printers. Here’s what came off the machine:

Pretty exciting, right? The electronics circuits and bill of materials are being reviewed, and soon work will start on the first production prototypes!

Looking Ahead / What’s Next

The first chance to view Chirpsounds in public is coming! We’ll be showing them off at The Biggest Week in American Birding From May 3rd through 7th! The show runs actually continues on through the 12th. If you can get to the NW Ohio that week, the Warbler Capital of the World, come look us up in the Birder’s Marketplace at the Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center every night from 5-8PM. Vendors will be set up throughout the lobby of the lodge, and there’s no charge for admission. We’ll probably be in our booth a bit earlier as people come back from various outings. We hope to see you there!

You can help others learn about Chirpsounds. Please share this with everyone you know, whether you think they would like a Chirpsounds device or not. They may know someone who would. You can also encourage them to visit Chirpsounds.com and sign up for these updates. Keep in mind that the earliest supporters of the campaign will score some pretty decent but quantity-limited discounts, and those of you who have been following this project for a long time deserve the best deal!

Well, that’s all for right now. Watch your inbox for more updates!

Stay tuned!
