6' Extended USB C Cable - DUAL for Charging Acorn AND Speaker

The system has two parts. A wireless microphone called the Acorn that hangs outside, wherever you want to listen, and a small speaker that sits indoors. They come pre-paired and ready to use the moment you open the box.

1. Hang the Acorn outside, near a feeder, a bird bath, or anywhere birds gather.

2. Place the speaker indoors, in a spot you'd like to listen from. It works up to 100 feet from the Acorn with reasonable line of sight.

3.  Turn the speaker on. The two reconnect automatically and your room fills with sound in seconds.

When you're done listening, just turn the speaker off. The Acorn drops into a low-power standby and is ready to reconnect the next time.

• The TX1 Transmitter (everyone calls it "the Acorn"), a USB charging cable, a wind-reduction patch, and a printed instruction sheet

• A long-range Oontz speaker (half a pound, sized for a windowsill) and a USB charging cable

• A clear ChirpSounds logo sticker for the back speaker face

• One-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship

The Acorn runs about a week between charges on its internal rechargeable battery. The speaker plays all day on its battery, or you can leave it plugged in for extended sessions. Just be sure to turn the speaker off when not listening to conserve the Acorn battery.

Wireless range is up to 100 feet with good line of sight, well beyond what most speakers in this size range can manage. We use top-notch Oontz hardware with a powerful radio and an exceptional antenna design.

Both units arrive with a partial charge so you can test the system right away. After your first listen, plan to charge both overnight.

The Acorn lives in a weatherproof, durable, UV-protected housing built for life outside year-round. It can withstand any weather you can, from -0ºF to 120ºF.

Watching your backyard birds through the cold of winter or the heat of summer is like watching TV with the sound turned down. ChirpSounds turns the sound back on.
