I had a bird “monitor” years ago and loved hearing the birds during windows closed seasons. The Chirpsounds transmitter is much better than my old one. Having the ability to muffle wind noise makes a huge difference. Being able to charge the components rather than using alkaline batteries is also a big plus. I haven’t had it long enough to know how long it will go between charges but so far has been longer than I expected. A highly recommended product.
Hi Julie, Thanks for the kind words! A few of our beta testers had older units and had a similar experience. Regarding battery life, if you run it 8 hours a day, you'll get through a week before needing to charge it overnight. If youonly run it 4 hours a day, 2 weeks. I dont like having it run out on me, so I have gotten into the habit of plugging it in every Sunday night, and then putting it right back outside Monday morning.

My wife and I were hoping to find a wireless microphone and speaker combo that would bring bird and other nature sounds indoors, and the Chirpsound products perform beautifully! Sound quality is realistic, the "acorn" transmitter is sensitive - attractive and unobtrusive amidst our birdfeeders. The speakers project surprising volume and look good amidst our decor. We bought two combos - to pick up sounds both in front of and behind the house. They pick up subtle sounds we've never been able to enjoy before, like wing flutters as birds change perches and the faint crackling of goldfinch beaks opening nyjer seed. Highly recommend!

The ChirpSounds transmitter and speaker were easy to set up and work like a charm! It sounds like we are outside listening to the birds at the feeder! Customer service was amazing; they checked in to make sure we had received the package and let us know they are available if we have any questions.
